Meet @ 11am @ Selby Fire station on Canal Road for a 9 mile circular walk taking in canals, ancient oak woodland in Brayton Barff along well trodden tracks & footpaths.
We will walk along the canal for approximately 3 miles, then turn off to walk round the perimeter of Selby golf club where the path heads through Brayton Barff woods.
We will then pass Thorpe Hall & follow farm track/path past Cross Hills farm, then on to Gowthorpe main shopping area which leads back into Selby for refreshments.
Selby Bus & rail stations are next to each other and only a 10 minute walk from the Fire Station. Follow the route on the web link
