This walk does include one very steep ascent and some undulating, potentially damp moorland terrain.

Calderdale weather can be changeable so waterproof clothing and boots are recommended.

Enjoy a packed lunch with good company and lungfuls of fresh air. Dogs on a lead please, as this is sensitive moorland for early lambs and rare ground-nesting birds.

Millenium CP operates a donations box and is popular parking for churchgoers to St Mary's in Luddenden village. On the right off Luddenden Lane just before the fork leading to Luddenden village proper.
