Overview

A tranquil flat walk along the former railway tracks that served the coal mines. One climb up to Silverhill, the highest point in Nottinghamshire. The walk continues through Silverhill Wood passing 2 ponds and joins the Teversal Trail, heading to Pleasley Country Park. Toilets at start & Pleasley. No stiles. Dog friendly. If required bring a packed lunch & binoculars for birdlife. Leader: Stephen D.
