Overview

Starting in Hartington we walk to Alstonfields via Beresford Dale (muddy unfortunately). From Alstonfields we drop down in to Dove Dale then straight back out and up on to the trail. A mile of trail and dodging bikes until we leave and head to Dalehead, Daleend and then Hartington.

On the reccy we walked down Biggins Dale but it was very tough going with the path largely under water so alternative route chosen.
