A gentle walk with a small amount of ascent offering views from Driffield Wold into Holderness with distant glimpses of the Humber Bridge.

Starting at 10.00 from Little Driffield Pond, near the church, this gentle 11.2-mile stroll takes in Elmswell before proceeding north towards Elmswell Wold Farm, crossing the A166.
The route then turns in an easterly direction until just before Pockthorpe Hall then goes near Honeypots and Nafferton Grange, crossing the A614 near Houndale.
Then it is westward by Eastfield Farm, skirting the cemetery, and then through the suburbs of Driffield and back to the start.
In total there is around 645 ft of climb. Some track waking, some quiet road walking, and field paths. There is some mud in places but not as much as may be expected following the recent inclement weather.
Great care will need to be taken when crossing both the main roads as they can get busy with traffic travelling to and from the coast.
Please park considerately. Towards the dead end of York Road is probably most suitable.
