Passing by Wootton House, St Johns Church, Wilberforce Monument, Hammer pond and mill, Paddington Farm and St James's Church. Mixture of woodland and fields with good views to North Downs

Starts at Pembroke Lodge CP in Richmond Park TW10 5HX (SSA 17 F6). A generally flat walk, some minor hills, no stiles. Walk to include, Pen Ponds, Isabella Plantation where we hope to see plenty of Spring flowers, and the White Lodge. Food and drinks in Pembroke Lodge afterwards.

We begin the walk from St Martin's church CP, Church Road in Brasted. postcode TN16 1HZ. OS Exp 147. This circular walk then goes south via Whitley Row to Ide Hill on the edge of the Greensand. It is a walk of ancient villages, woodland hills and wonderful views over the Weald. There are only a few stiles but the route becomes more uphill later on. Stops mid morning and lunchtime(bring coffee etc. and packed lunch) There will be a pub stop.

Start point Green Dene CP (SSA112E2)This walk has one fairly steep ascent and could be muddy under the bridges. There were 15 built for the Earl of Lovelace in the 19th Century for the purpose of transport of timber and 10 remain. We shall visit 9 recently restored and there are explanatory plaques along our route.
