 🥾 Walk Description

Join us for our final walk of the year — a scenic 5.5-mile route beginning at The Apple Tree pub in Woodmancote. We’ll enjoy rolling countryside views, friendly company, and a relaxed pace before heading back for a festive lunch. Expect a few gentle inclines and, as always in December, bring good boots and layers for whatever weather the season brings!

After the walk, we’ll enjoy a pre-booked lunch at 12:45pm at The Apple Tree.

• The route may be muddy — suitable footwear and moderate fitness are recommended.
• If you’re car-sharing, The Apple Tree has parking but it can get busy on weekends.

Dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy walking boots are highly recommended for your comfort and safety

Dogs are not permitted on this walk, except for registered assistance dogs. If you have any concerns about route suitability, please consult with the walk leader beforehand.

We encourage you to take photos on our walks, but we ask that you do not share photos that include people’s faces publicly (including Meetup) without their clear permission.
Occasionally, group photos may be taken during walks. The photographer will always tell you where these will be shared, such as Meetup, the 20s and 30s members’ WhatsApp group, or for promotional purposes on the Gloucestershire Walking Group website.
