Walks

Friday: Travel day and there is also an option to go to Castle Rising on the way to the accommodation if people wanted. Details to be confirmed closer to the time.

Saturday: Circular Walk from Sheringham to Cromer, heading inland towards Felbrigg Hall and walking along the coastal path back to Sheringham. This will be around 13 miles.

Sunday: Brancaster Staithe (direct from the hostel) to Wells-next to the Sea, sees us walk a linear route across the marshland, heading towards Holkham Beach where we will walk alongside the vast beach all the way to Wells-next to the sea. This walk will be around 12 miles.

Monday: Brancaster Staithe Circular from the hostel which will be 6 miles but can be shortened.

Food

Arrangements for food will be confirmed closer to the weekend.

Accommodation

We have exclusive hire of The Dial House at Brancaster Staithe for 3 nights over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (Friday 3rd April to Monday 6th April).

There are a mixture of dormitories of different sizes with bunkbeds and en-suites.

Note: there is very limited parking at the hostel due to Brancaster Staithe being a working quayside so car sharing is encouraged where possible. Currently looking at options for alternative parking, this will be confirmed closer to the weekend.

Booking details

The accommodation is £73 per person for the 3 nights, Friday - Monday.

The weekend away is open to Ramblers members ONLY and there are limited spaces.

To book your place please contact Rosie on rosiedyball@hotmail.co.uk with your Ramblers membership number. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis, and your place will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Cancellations: Unfortunately refunds cannot be guaranteed unless someone else is able to take your space.

There will mostly likely be a reserve list when the weekend gets full. If the weekend gets full but you are still interested then do get in contact with Rosie and she will put you on the reserve list. There is no guarantee that you will secure a place.
