We are Reigate Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Henley Royal Regatta is a great international rowing event, it is also a lot of fun - with a gentle walk and a picnic to enjoy in a lovely Thameside location.
We would travel by train from Reigate at a cost of £20.75 with a travel card (9:19 to reading , then Twyford and Henley). The regatta course is about a mile long and finishes by the main bridge in town . We will walk on the towpath to the start then the entire length of the course, potentially taking advantage of hospitality areas all along . People can bring a food or buy it from the hospitality stalls and we will picnic together in a suitable spot and then walk back
