Overview

our AGM will be held at Alwoodley Methodist Church Hall at 2.30 pm

The formal proceedings of electing the committee etc will as last year be followed by buffet refreshments

Something that always seems to come up at meetings is the lack of shorter easier walks, perhaps 5/6 miles.  It appears that no one is prepared to lead these walks.  Every year there is the same complaint and another year has gone by with not a single shorter easier walk being offered for publication.  If there is a demand for shorter easier walks then those that want them have to come forward to lead them

We need more volunteers for the committee. As I type this we have only five committee members and I as last year have multiple roles. Karen, despite being treasurer of Harrogate group, has taken on the role of secretary and part time chair. Looking back at my notes from last year I've been treasurer now for 9 years and walks co ordinator for 13.  If you want the group to keep going there has to be a certain amount of administration and volunteers to do it.
