We are the Isle of Wight Ramblers. We arrange walks, monitor paths and help our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Overview

This event will be accompanied by four walks. 

  • Flock to the party, led by Amanda S - 14 miles
  • A lovely country walk around the middle of the island, led by David H and Kate A - 5.3 miles
  • An easy stroll to Rookley, led by Roger M and Eric P - 4 miles
  • Ventnor to the Ramblers 90th Birthday Party in Rookley, led by Helen J - 10 miles

We are also fortunate to have Kate A (a major player in the Ramblers HO) coming, and, as you can see, she will also be leading the walk along with David H.

Following the morning walks, the event at Rookley Village Hall starts at 2 pm when a buffet lunch will be provided. If you can then it would be a good idea to bring a garden chair and sit, weather permitting, outside on the recreation ground. Listen to music by Steve Love. Kate A will say a few words. The event finishes at 5 pm.
