Overview

WALK DESCRIPTION: This is a 5-mile linear walk making use of public transport. From Barnt Green station we stroll gently uphill along a tree-lined pathway into Lickey Hills country park, before arriving at the visitor centre where we will take a short break. We continue through woodland, passing Cofton Hackett churchyard and a notable monument before reaching Beacon Hill, which offers expansive views across South Birmingham and beyond. We follow the North Worcestershire Path across the Waseley Hills and on to the summit of Windmill Hill with its 360° panoramic views. Our second visitor centre stop follows shortly afterwards with a final opportunity for refreshments. A further pleasant half mile section brings us to the bus stop for our journey home.
