Overview

Join us on our next Stag Walkers social at the Boom Battle Bar in Stevenage, and practice your axe throwing skills! Whether you’ve been on loads of walks with us or you’re pretty new to the group, we would love for you to come along. This event is for up to 6 people, including the event host, but may be increased to 12 if enough people want to join. We will meet at 7:45 outside the venue, for a 8pm start.

It's a really fun, relaxed activity (and don’t worry if you’ve never done it before—there’s full guidance and it’s very beginner-friendly). Mostly it’s just a great excuse to have a laugh together, cheer each other on, and have a proper catch-up outside of the trails.

Date: Thursday 2nd April

Time: 8 PM

Duration: 1 hour

Location

Boom Battle Bar, Stevenage, Stevenage Leisure Park, Kingsway, Stevenage SG1 2UA. The Leisure Park is 5 minutes away from the railway station and local bus services.

The venue car park is free of charge and has plenty of parking spaces (over 1200 free parking spaces).

Booking Your Place

Each lane is restricted to 6 people. Tickets are £11.67 each, due by 18th March at 23:59 (if the deposit isn’t received by then, your spot may be released). If fewer than 6 people sign up for the social, we will ask you to pay extra to cover the cost of the lane.

Please transfer the deposit via the Stag Walkers bank account - see our Meetup event page for details.

Please remember to edit your RSVP if you can no longer make it so we know not to wait for you.

Safety note: For everyone’s safety, please DO NOT consume alcohol beforehand, and no alcohol is allowed during the game.

Afterwards, we can stay on for a drink, a chat if anyone fancies it, or even shoot some pool.

Really hope you can make it—would be great to see you there!

Event Host: JP

Please:

• DO NOT book onto an event unless you are pretty sure you will be able to make it.

• UPDATE YOUR RSVP. We understand ‘life happens’ so if you need to change your RSVP please do this at least 24 hours before the event and before booking closes to enable someone else to take your place.

• DON’T NO-SHOW on the day unless it is absolutely unavoidable (we do understand ‘life happens’) because it prevents others from enjoying an event if it is fully booked.

TAKE NOTE that if you no-show three times, without extenuating circumstances, we will decline further bookings from you for a period of six weeks.

• DO car-share or use public transport if possible. To offer a lift or ask for one from a fellow walker, please use the Meetup event page.

• FOLLOW NHS guidelines and do not attend the event if you are unwell.
