A walking group for young people in the Shropshire area. We have walks on most weekends, mid-week in the summer as well as socials and weekends away too.
Walk Leader Training and Navigation Skills Day.
The day will start with a short theory session covering walk leadership for the Ramblers and map work skills in the hills. This will then be followed by a practical session in small groups and supported by experienced members of SYR.
While we will try to provide you with the skills and experience we have built up ourselves, this is a session being run by volunteers and it should not be viewed as a replacement for attending a formal training course.
Church Stretton - exact starting point will be shared with attendees after booking a space with the event coordinator.
