From Hartsop we'll head up towards Hayeswater and then The Knott. Remaining at altitude we continue on to High Street and Thornthwaite Crag before dropping down steeply to follow Pasture Beck back to Hartsop. There is also an alternative route of descent via Gray Crag which we could take, enabling us to stay at altitude a little longer.

High point: High Street summit - 828 m.
If conditions are wintry please be mindful of what you may need to stay safe/comfortable and come prepared. The descent from Thornthwaite Crag is steep and crampons/ice axe are needed here and at other points under certain conditions.
Please bring a torch, and spare batteries, although we should be down before dark.
If conditions are bad Dave reserves the right to modify the route or cancel the walk.
