This is an interesting and surprisingly rural route set almost entirely within the boundaries of Glasgow City Council. It has been developed by a SE Glasgow Countryside Ranger working in partnership with Glasgow Ramblers, who carry out path improvements. It joins up green spaces on the south side of Glasgow including Linn Park, King’s Park, Cathkin Braes (including Glasgow’s highest point) and Netherton Braes.

This is a circular walk
Terrain: Mostly good paths with a few muddy sections and rougher woodland paths. It includes some quite steep ascents. Only about 2km are on city streets.
