Start: At the car park in Hathersage beside the swimming pool.
This is one of our more challenging longer walk. It is for those who would like to push themselves, enjoy a varied route with changing scenery and walk at a good pace over longer sections.
Please ensure that you have suitable clothing and equipment for changeable weather conditions, have food and drink, head-torch, boots, poles etc.
Route: Owler Tor, on to Longshaw Estate, stop for wc/drink, then continue to White Edge. We will walk onto Big Moor visiting the stone circles and across Ramsley Moor to the Saxon cross for a planned stop in the woods.
Returning back via Baslow, Curbar and Froggatts Edge's, dropping down to Grindleford, Coppice Wood and returning to Hathersage along the river.
