A circular walk in the attractive High Weald countryside surrounding the East Sussex villages of Rotherfield and Frant. The route takes us along the edge of Eridge Old Park, one of the largest deer parks in England, and also past an interesting 19th century folly on Saxonbury Hill. Undulating terrain with a couple of longish ascents. Choice of pub lunch (contact leaders in advance to reserve a place), or picnic by the picturesque village green in Frant. Please bring cars to Preston Park.
South end of Preston Park, Brighton, near to the Rose Garden. Journey should take less than 50 minutes by car. Leaders will be going directly to the starting point.
