Start time: 13:00
(Estimated finish time: 18:15)
Moderate 8 miles / 12.9 km
A walk starting in the afternoon from London Bridge Station heading along the river to the Isle of Dogs where we'll finish with an Indian meal. The walk takes in The Tower of London and Tower Bridge and then passes through some surprisingly quiet, lesser known paths (both on and off the river) without the usual crowds associated with London.
There won't be an official lunch stop, so please bring a sandwich to eat on the train going up to London Bridge.
We will, however stop for a mid-afternoon break at The Wetherspoons in Docklands for drinks only (very scenic location and free tea and coffee re-fills; unfortunately the same doesn't apply to beer!)
Update February 10th 2019 - We will also stop at The Museum of London (free entry) in The Docklands.
Please meet at the Tooley Street entrance at London Bridge Station. When you get off the train, you'll need to take the escalators down to the lower level to get to the Tooley Street entrance.
