Ambleside weekend walk to Clappersgate, Skelwith Fold and Galava

We follow the river Brathay to Clappersgate then take a narrow lane along the river to Skelwith Fold. We then head SE across pastures and woodland joining the B5286, criss-crossing back to Clappersgate. Before returning to Ambleside there is an opportunity to visit the Roman fort of Galava.
