Putney to Richmond via commons, heaths and parks

Easy 8 miles / 12.9 km
Travel: Meet at Putney Bridge South West corner (NOT rail or underground station). There are frequent trains (e.g. 10:09) to Putney Station from Waterloo, or take District line to Putney Bridge Station. Start point is 10 minutes’ walk from either of these stations.
After a brief stroll along Thames we travel to Richmond via Beverly Brook, Barnes Common, Putney Heath, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park to return to the Thames as we enter Richmond. At least one café en route but please bring a packed lunch. Pub stop available at the end.
