Walk Details. B+ 9.5 miles, 537m ascent
We’ll walk up through Cardrona Forest on lovely walking trails, meandering through the trees. We’ll take our time as it’s a slow climb all the way until we reach the top of Cardrona forest where we’ll stop for a well earned cuppa. We’ll then traverse Yellow Mire, skirting around the side of Birks Hill, to join the cross Borders drove road. We’ll follow the drove road on the steady ascent up Kirkhope Law (537m) where we might stop for lunch if it’s not too blowy. You’ll be rewarded with fabulous open views down the Tweed Valley as we follow this spectacular drovers road along the heathery hills to Kailzie Hill and down Gypsy Glen into Peebles. Bring food and drink for two breaks
