a 10 mile walk, starting from:
Old Watling Street,
We will walk along canal, passing the flight of five locks and then up over Atherstone golf course, through woods,then on to Baxterley and Baddesley for the pub stop at the Red Lion.
We will eat our sandwiches on the village green.
Then down to canal and walk back to the start point.
Hinckley Ramblers car share,
We meet each Sunday at
Lower Bond Street, car park.

To leave at 9 am.

Sunday's pub stop
The Red Lion at Baddesley.
Solid community local with a landlord who has been at the helm for over twenty years.
Food does not feature, just ale
Comfy seating and the log fire are enhanced by a music-free environment.
Four guest ales are served, often from major concerns such as Greene King and Everards, but sometimes featuring small local breweries. The sparkler is willingly removed on request.
Off-road parking is available directly opposite the pub.
