This is a very pleasant coastal walk from Clacton to Walton on the Naze and ends at the Naze Visitors Centre for welcome refreshments. The Naze Centre (Essex Wildlife Trust) has a wealth of information about this unique coastal landscape of outstanding geological and biological importance and is worth a look. The day ends with a scenic bus journey through the Tendring countryside (approx. £4.00) back to Clacton for public house beverages for those that want it. Please refer to relevant websites concerning car parking options and bring a packed lunch.
Dogs are permitted on our walks at the leader's discretion. However they must be well behaved and kept on a lead.Please read the Ramblers dog walking code on the Ramblers website.
Be prepared ! Ensure that you wear walking boots/shoes, trainers can be worn in summer months. Clothing suitable for the weather conditions must be worn. Bring drinking water and food with you, if you're unsure what else to bring please ask
