Hopefully timed to catch the bluebells at their peak, this fabulous walk will take us up and down a few hills, through the woods and into quintessential villages at the southern end of the Chilterns. A real mixture of terrain with three bluebell woods and a visit to Turville (aka "Dibley").
[OPTIONAL] Meet at Shawford Down (next to Shawford Railway station) for car sharing opportunities. It's about a 1hr:30 drive to Watlington.

We will stop for a picnic lunch after about 6 miles (approx 1:30pm) near the Barn at Turville Heath which provides an opportunity for toilets and also to purchase food and drink.
It would be possible to skip the first 2.5 miles (with one hill and one bluebell wood) by joining the walk about 1hr later. Alternative linear options would be possible if you can sort out your own logistics. Please contact the walk leader for further information.
