A 7 mile walk in the Shropshire Hills starting at historic Stokesay Castle, a 13th Century fortified manor house. The route takes in the aptly named View Edge, giving great views west towards the Welsh border and then east and south towards the Clee Hills, Wenlock Edge and Ludlow. It also includes two lovely steep sided wooded valleys – Brandhill Gutter and Aldon Gutter. There are no toilets or cafes along the walk route but there are both at Stokesay Castle itself, which is owned by English Heritage and open to the public.
