Strenuous 11 miles / 17.7 km
Linear to Merstham Station. A lovely stretch of the North Downs Way with great views south. Only 11 miles but quite strenuous, with two steep climbs totalling over 1,900 ft of ascent starting with Box Hill. The lunch stop at 'The Sportsman' pub, Mogador (but bring picnic lunch) is mercifully at the top of the hill. Map: E146, L187.
