From Trentabank car park we follow an anti clockwise route, initially through the forest before beginning a steady climb up to the Forest Chapel where we shall have a short drinks stop. Taking the grass path we then turn to continue the climb up towards Walker Barn, hopefully, enjoying clear views toward Manchester and the Cheshire Plain. Meeting the main Macclesfield Buxton road we take extra care befor turning towards the scenic Teggs Nose Country Park. Good tracks and quiet lanes enable a steady descent passing Teggs Nose Reservoir then on to Ridgegate and Trentabank Reservoir and a return to the car park.
