This is a circular walk
This beautiful walk, with far-ranging views in many directions, is mainly on good tracks across open downland and farmland with some woodland and a tiny bit of minor road walking. There is a certain amount of undulation but nothing very steep. We basically do a wide circuit around the Hannington transmitter mast. There are no stiles; they have all been replaced by metal kissing gates.
It is a fine walk with an optional extension near the end.
If you would like to go on this walk it is important that you contact us by 6.30 pm on Wednesday 18th September, particularly stating whether or not you would like to stay for lunch at the pub. This is because there is a maximum number that the pub can accommodate. You can use the "Ask a question" link above.
The pub will be open from 10.00 am to take our lunch orders and for us to use the facilities. Menus are on https://thevineathannington.co.uk/
