Start time: 10:35
(Estimated finish time: 16:00)
Moderate 10 miles / 16.1 km
This walk is definitely going ahead as planned - M6 roadworks between Preston and Lancaster were completed last weekend.
For those wanting to try a walk which is a little bit longer than the super-six series of walks, whay not join us on the following:
A scenic 10 mile walk that takes in Grange-Over-Sands and historic cartmel (home of the stick toffee pudding), with hopefully some superb views over Morcambe Bay and towards the Lakes.
To save on car travel, I suggest we meet at Carnforth train station at 10am and take the train to Grange Over Sands (return ticket costs £4.50 - purchase on Platform before boarding train). P&D parking at station is £5 so please allow time to get to station if parking on street. If running to time, we will arrive in Grange for 10.38 (If meeting us at Grange Over Sands, please be there for 10.35)
Ramblers members please remember your membership card otherwise a suggested donation of £1.
