CHANGE OF DATE TO SATURDAY 2ND OCTOBER. The final stage of our walk down the river Thames. Longer walk, 10.5 miles starts at Tate Modern and follows the south bank path all the way to the Barrier.
Shorter walk 7 miles): starts at Tower Bridge to Rotherhithe then back on the coach for a short ride to Greenwich to walk the final section to the Barrier.
Priority booking will be given to those who have joined previous sections of the route. A VERY few spaces may be available for others to the join the coach. Contact Jim on 01329-661630 to book a seat on the coach.
This coach walk starts in Fareham: 3 pick-up points [Stubbington Red Lion 07:45; Fareham West Street 07:55 and Portchester Red Lion 08:05]. Coach fare payable in advance - contact walk leader to book - the price is £15.00. Note: these pick-ups times may change before October.

This is a linear walk
We follow the south abank of the river, mainly on paved tarmac surfaces with some sections beside a road. Limited facilities such as toilets, pubs and cafes along the route. Date changed to 2nd october due to the London Marathon on 3rd October.
