This is a linear walk
This is the third day of the pilgrimage walk from Wareham, led by the Bishop of Sherborne, Bishop Karen. There will be other walkers, and it would be helpful if group members could assist along the route please, and in particular bring hi-viz waistcoats for the road sections.
Once we arrive in Shaftesbury, we will congregate in the park area off St James St, at the foot of Gold Hill, then process up to the Town Hall,. for tea and pilgrim cake, before proceeding along Abbey Walk to the Abbey.
There will be a lunch stop at Bedchester, where we hope there will be the opportunity to purchase drinks and/or snacks, but we need to leave there at the latest by 13.45.
