A super walk in the lovely countryside around Hailes Abbey. Following parts of The Cotswold Way and The Gloucestershire way the route passes through a good mix of farmland, woodland and open countryside with some wonderful views in places. It is moderately hilly with one long, but not overly steep, climb. Mostly on good paths, tracks and tarmac and with few stiles.
Suitable for dogs on leads, although it should be noted one or two fields may have grazing cattle in them.
Bring a snack and drinks with you.
Hailes Abbey car park GL54 5PB (Grid ref SP 0505 3010), adjacent to the church. Space for a few cars, otherwise roadside parking nearby.
