Start time: 9:00
(Estimated finish time: 17:00)
Strenuous 14 miles / 22.5 km
Starting at the Cairngorm Ski Centre Car Park we will head out onto the plateau to the summit of Ben Macdui before dropping down to Loch Etchachan and climbing our second munro of the day, Beinn Mheadhoin. The route then takes us past the shelter stone and round the west side of Loch Avon before the steep climb up by the Alt Coirie Raibert waterfall to regain the plateau and round to our final munro of the day Cairn Gorm. From here its a relatively short descent back to the car park.
Due to COVID-19, we all need to take extra steps to stay safe. Please follow all safety advice given by the walk leader, including the latest guidelines on physical distancing. For more information about COVID-19 and Ramblers group walks, please see our guidance for walkers on the coronavirus pages of the Ramblers website.
