Booking arrangements
BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL FOR ALL WALKS AT THE MOMENT
Booking opens for this walk on Sunday, 6th December at 6pm. The maximum number is 20 for this walk, allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. For this walk you need to be resident in a Tier 2 area
If you would like to join this walk, please book a place by contacting the leader by email to davidholmes46@btinternet.com
When booking, please give your name and a contact telephone number (for NHS track and trace purposes if needed). I will confirm that you are definitely booked if spaces are available. If you subsequently find that you cannot attend the walk, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Unfortunately, it is not possible to take people on the walk who turn up without a booking and only those people who live in tier 2 counties can join this walk.
I look forward to seeing Rutlanders on the 13th. Sorry Lincolnshire and Leicestershire walking friends.
Covid-19 precautions
We all need to take extra steps to stay safe at the moment, so do please follow all advice given by the walk leader. A reminder of key points:
* car sharing is not recommended (see govt guidelines if you need to)
* follow social distancing guidelines
* avoid touching gates & stiles if possible
* don’t share food, drink or equipment
* bring your own hand sanitiser, and it’s useful to have a face covering in the event of an incident
The full guidance for walkers can be found on the ‘coronavirus’ pages of the ramblers website (www.ramblers.org.uk)
