This walk takes in four old parish churches and a very picturesque section of the river Stour with three water mills. We start at Fiddleford Manor car park, then follow a short section of the North Dorset Trailway, before taking a bridleway across the fields to the village of Hammoon. A short road section through the village, then across fields to the village Manston. Another short road section through Manston, and across the fields again to village of Hinton St.Mary, with it's interesting old half timber frame buildings. From there we follow a section of the Hardy Trail down to the ruined Cut Mill and weir, where we will take lunch. After lunch, we follow the Stour Valley Way past the outskirts of Sturminster Newton to Sturminster Mill, then back to the start at Fiddleford Mill.
