This is a coach walk. All seats must be pre-booked. There will be four walks varying in distance from 5 to 12 miles.
All coaches pick-up at County Hall bus stop 9.15am and Maid Marian Way, outside Tesco at 9.30am
A WALK - Leader: Andy Watts - 10-11 miles
Start: Baslow. Finish: Foolow
Route: Baslow and uphill to reach Baslow Edge and onto Curbar Edge. Then drop down to Froggatt Bridge and the River Derwent. Heading over towards Stoney Micdleton before heading north west to Eyam via The Riley Graves before heading for Foolow.
Terrain: undulating. There may be a pub stop if time permits.
B WALK - Leader: Bohdan - 7.5 miles
This walk is a circular undulating walk of approximately 7.5 miles of a varied terrain with one steep-ish incline
Route: Starting at Foolow we walk through Eyam up to and across Eyam Moor through Nether Bretton and Bretton traversing Eyam Edge and returning to Foolow.
Terrain: There will be some road walking and it could be very muddy in places.
C WALK - Leader: Randy Barber - 6 miles
This short walk is full of variety.
Starting in Foolow we cross fields east to historic Eyam, then climb gradually up the ridge above the village along a rough 4-wheel drive track.
From here we cross over onto Eyam Moor before heading back to Bretton and the famous Barrel Inn.
The views from here are spectacular, weather permitting. Descent is along Bradshaw Lane to Foolow.
Terrain: Only one moderate climb but several up-and-over stone stiles will take time to negotiate.

Please sign up at least three days prior to the date of walk. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so that someone else can take your place. Please do not turn up for a walk without booking, as we will have to turn you away.
