Much of the walk is through very quiet woodland or at the edge of woodland. We walk through Little Bradley Wood, Ridge Copse, Great Bradley Wood and Penstones Wood. The final part is flat across pasture that could be muddy (alternative road option possible).
The route is mostly on tracks, minor roads which is undulating with no excessively steep ascents or descents. There are a small number of stiles, parts can be muddy at times.
We cross one fast road twice.
