Nigel's Addington Circular - 16 miles
Sunday, 3 October 2021
Start time: 10:00
(Estimated finish time: 16:30)
Strenuous 16 miles / 25.8 km
A 16 mile walk starting from Hayes (Kent) Station car park (BR2 7EN). We initially follow the London Loop from Hayes Common through Coney Hall and then over to Addington Hills. We drop down through Heathfield and Bramley Bank before going through Selsdon and on into Frith Wood. There will be a short pub stop in Fickleshole and then we follow the path all of the way down to Michden before picking up some of the Nash Circular as we make our way back to Hayes Station.
While we won’t be tackling any mountains it isn’t flat. Toilets will in the main be au naturel. It is a relatively long way so while we won’t be rushing it will be a steady consistent pace. Bring food and snacks – while we stop at a pub it will be mid afternoon and a relatively quick pause
Any questions please just ask – and specifically if anybody is travelling to Bromley South and needs to work out how to get to Hayes feel free to send me a separate mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
Start point. BR2 7EN. Hayes (Kent) Station. There are 2 car parks – the station car park (small Sunday fee payable by APP), and a second car park – follow the signs to the Covid Testing site. There is also plenty of off street parking

This is a circular walk
We are an upbeat walking group ( typically 30s to 60s), and we provide a mixed programme of walks every weekend. We also organise social events, weekends away, plus other activities.

This is one of hundreds of Ramblers group walks for all ages and abilities every week - all led by our experienced walk leaders.
You’re welcome to join us on any of our walks to see if the Ramblers is for you. Then, once you’ve enjoyed the views, fun, exhilaration and good company, it’s just a case of becoming a member.
Do make sure you're fit enough and have the right footwear and clothing for the walk you want to do, though. You can contact the group or leader if in doubt.
