Leisurely 5.2 miles / 8.4 km
The first half of the walk follows the Saxon Shore Way up Oare Creek until it opens out to the Medway. We follow the Medway shoreline until we come to the place where the Harty Ferry used to arrive at. Here we turn inland and walk South cross country to Luddenham Court farm where we turn back to Oare. There should be sightings of winter migrant birds as we go.
