LATHKILL DALE, Derbyshire

This is a coach walk. All seats must be pre-booked. There will be four walks varying in distance from 5 to 12 miles.
All coaches pick-up at County Hall bus stop 9.15am and Maid Marian Way, outside Tesco at 9.30am

A WALK - Leader: Linda Hewing - 19k/12m approx.

Description:  An undulating walk among limestone hills and dales with glorious views

Route:  Over Haddon, Lathkill Dale, Haddon Grove, Ricklow Dale and Quarry, Fern Dale, Cales Farm, Cales Dale, Bradford dale, Youlgreave, Over Haddon.

Terrain:  Undulating.  Some road walking. 1 steep descent and 1 steep climb.  Could be slippy if wet.  Possible pub stop at Youlgreave time permitting.

B WALK - Leader: Randy Barber - 9 miles approx.

Route: A very pleasant walk mostly along the water courses in the area. We drop down to Alport and follow the Limestone Way right around to Lathkill Dale and back to Over Haddon.

Terrain: One moderate climb and a steep descent but otherwise easy walking.
