The walk itself starts in Lynmouth. Here we pick up the SWCP and walk the fairly demanding coastal route back to Porlock Weir, firstly encountering the sweeping climb of Countisbury Hill out of Lynmouth. Truly beautiful views of the Devon and Somerset coastline can be expected, as well as moorland and woodland stretches. Welcome refreshment and live music greet you at the Bottom Ship at picturesque Porlock Weir.
