Moderate 10 miles / 16.1 km
Take two generous chunks of Cheddar; add some Ham and perhaps sample fresh Strawberries for afters makes for a tasty sounding ramble (if I say so myself). Energetic walking, out on the northern side of the gorge to the highest point in the Mendip hills - Beacon Batch, before our return along the southern side of the gorge. P&D parking. Booking not required. Bring packed lunch.
