Leisurely 10 miles / 16.1 km
Chris is leading a 10 mile Leisurely walk.
This will be the first second in our series of day walks showcasing the fantastic rambling countryside available from the heart of Stourbridge . For this event we will venture along Stourbridge Arm Canal, tracking the history from its role as the highway for glass industry through to its re-birth in the 1960s when volunteers restored it from dereliction. Following this we will explore The Hyde woodlands , breaking for lunch in The picturesque Kinver Village before hiking up to the viewpoint of Kinver Edge. Following the walk there is the opportunity to discuss our adventures in one of the town's pubs.
Please arrive at 10.15 for a 10.30 start at the car park, Chris will be meeting people at the Juncture of Stourbridge Town Train Station and Stourbridge Bus Station at 9.30.
