This walk takes you west over the lands behind Hadrian’s Wall, passing Goatstones, Ravensheugh Crags, Great Lonbrough and Stell Green for panoramic views from the Cheviots to the Pennines. Passing Halleypike Lough, we pick up Hadrian’s Wall at Sewing Shields. The return is via Brocolitia Roman temple and Teppermoor.
