Moderate 9.2 miles / 14.8 km
The route follows the scenic Waskerley Way (a disused railway line) down towards Castleside. We then bear west through woodland and very steep descents/ascents along the road to Comb Bridges. We walk along a small wooded path and up to open farmland. We then gradually ascend to Nanny Mayer’s Incline.
