Leisurely 4.3 miles / 7 km
An ideal first walk or a leg stretch for regular walkers. A surprisingly compact and varied walk that features fields, woodland, different types of bridges, before heading to ponds, reed beds and boardwalks at the Blythe Valley Park Nature Reserve, and returning back to the Start Point.
Meet in courtyard outside the Farm Inn pub, 22 Farmhouse Way, Shirley, Solihull B90 4EH. Free car park opposite.
This is a circular walk
Not suitable for large dogs. Bus route no.5 from Birmingham City Centre. Get off at Shelley Farm/ Farmhouse way stop.
