Route takes us through fields to Harwell and then onto West Hagbourne. We continue to East Hagbourne (the fictional village of Devesham - from a well known 1970s TV series). If weather is fine we may stop at Fleur De Lys pub. Return along dismantled railway through Upton and back.
Dogs allowed but some footpaths are very overgrown and narrow.

Meet at car park behind All Saints Church in Chilton. Car parking free and is in front of a playing field behind the church. If the car parking spaces are limited due to attendance at the village hall, please park considerately in the village. There are spaces along the road to the right of the church by the verge and others around the corner.”
