Moderate 9.5 miles / 15.3 km
Gradual climb onto two of the highest summits in the Black Mountains – Waun Fach and Pen y Gadair Fawr above the Grwyne Fawr Reservoir.
The walk is mainly across moorland on clear tracks BUT the descent is very steep and poles are strongly recommended.
Note early start time.
