Starting from Spetisbury Railway the walk travels through a combination of footpaths, bridleways and minor roads with stunning views across the Stour Valley, Badbury Rings and Purbeck Hills. It then passes over 15 century Crawford Bridge, traverses the sleepy village of Shapwick across Stour Valley Way, 12 century St Mary’s Church at Tarrant Crawford and Kingston Mill House famous for their scented botanic gardens.
A moderate 7 mile circular walk, mainly flat with a couple of small ascents. Walking poles and long trousers recommended due to some uneven/overgrown bridle ways. There are a few easy 'V' shaped stiles.
